Up-A-Level Tutor Club is a fun place where children of primary age and beyond come to learn and gain confidence.
I am Gill Hall, I graduated from Roehampton Institute London with a BA (Hons)QTS, then worked in Lewisham schools as a class teacher for 10 years before starting Up-A-Level Tutor Club.
I love working with children and discovering how they learn and adapting to their individual needs. Up-A-Level Tutor Club was started in 1997 to help some friends of my own children who were not achieving as well as they should. Children and parents told their friends leading to the start of a Saturday morning club, soon this was oversubscribed leading to individual and group classes every day of the week. Up-A-Level Tutor Club now works with children enhancing and extending their school work also preparing for 7+, 10+ and 11+ entrance exams.
Up-A-Level Tutor Club is held in my house where I provide a personal and homely environment where children feel secure and learn happily gaining confidence and knowledge.
